How to get to your quarantine facility from Incheon International Airport

While the pandemic is still ongoing and many are still traveling to South Korea, the government has provided transportation from the airport to quarantine facilities where a visitor will be staying for 14 days to complete their quarantine process. Ziptoss has made a list of the different kinds of transportation you can use upon arriving at Incheon International Airport during covid-19 South Korea.

Personal vehicle
The best way for travelers to get to their quarantine facility is through a personal vehicle, or they can get a ride from their family members, friends, etc.
Quarantine shuttle
If you were not able to find a quarantine facility or if your place of residence is not suitable for quarantine, the government has a designated quarantine facility for travelers and visitors. These quarantine facilities provide free shuttle services for trips from the airport to their designated quarantine facilities. You can go to the Incheon airport quarantine office to ask about this service.

Quarantine taxi
For those who do not have a personal vehicle, there are special taxis that you can take to get to your quarantine facility.
Here are some of the things you need to know about quarantine taxis:

All drivers of quarantine taxis can either speak Korean, Japanese, Chinese and/or English.
All vehicles have partitions inside acting as barriers between the driver and passengers.
These special taxis are cleaned and disinfected after each ride.
Wifi and device charging services are available in all vehicles.
You can choose either a sedan or a minivan as your vehicle.
Reservations shall be made at least 24 hours before pick-up.
These taxis can drive you to your destination even on long distances.

Quarantine taxis are convenient for those who are on business trips and for those who are exempted from the quarantine process.

*Note: Public transportation is not allowed for residents or non-residents upon arrival at the airport.
